A 16-year-old boy was shot while traveling in a car Friday evening in Brighton Park.
The teen boy was traveling in a vehicle about 5 p.m. in the 3900 block of West 41st Street when another vehicle pulled up and someone from inside opened fire, Chicago police said.
He was struck in the armpit and was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Area One detectives are investigating.
