According to a 2021 study by the RV Industry Association (the most recently available information), RV ownership in the U.S. shot up 62% over the previous 20 years, and in 2021, a record 11.2 million households owned an RV. Sales at many RV dealerships spiked partly because of the coronavirus pandemic, but Progressive has seen a steady increase in the number of full-time RV policies sold since 2009.
