£15 million plans for holiday lodges at Eden Springs Fishery

Family-owned business Eden Muir has unveiled proposals which would see an investment of £15m at the Eden Springs Fishery and Country Park.

The plans would see the development of new holiday lodge-style pitches on the site of the former Mountcastle Quarry, adjacent to Eden Muir and Bull Stone Lochs.

They have been designed to complement the existing Eden Springs Fishery, which opened in 2021 with the former quarry filled with trout and the installation of 19 fishing platforms, a pontoon and a reception building.
