Around 15 equity mutual funds have multiplied investors’ lumpsum investment by 4.3 times in the last seven years, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. There were 189 funds in the said time period, of which around 27 funds multiplied the investment by more than four times.
These 15 funds were from four different categories: small cap, mid cap, flexi cap and ELSS funds. There were eight small caps, five mid caps, one flexi cap and one ELSS fund.
