- Approximately 140 U.S. soldiers have been wounded so far in the war against Iran, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
- Eight service members are severely injured, and 108 returned to duty, the defense department said.
- The injury tally comes after the deaths of seven U.S. service members killed in the first 10 days of the war.
- Defense secretary Pete Hegseth warned that Tuesday “will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran: The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes, intelligence more refined and better than ever.” He added that “the last 24 hours have seen Iran fire the lowest amount of missiles they have fired yet.”
- At least 1,230 people have been killed in Iran since the war began, at least 397 in Lebanon, 12 in Israel and six in United Arab Emirates, according to officials.
