We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Pam (Pamela) Clarke nee Hounsell aged 72 years. Her final wish was to pass away peacefully and gently in her family’s home, and her family did all they could to grant Pam her last wish, which came true. She fought hard with bravery and dignity because that was the person she was. She was strong, brave, dignified and made us all proud of her resilience. Pam was a loving wife to John her husband of over 50 years. An amazing Mum to her children Simon, Louise and Andrew. A special Nan to her beautiful Grandchildren Gabriel, Jonah and Daisy who all loved her dearly, and she them. Alongside this Pam (Mrs Clarke) was a constant and stable loving presence in the lives of the children and families who attended Our Lady’s Bishop Eton School. She was a friend to all and loved in return. Her laughter, smile and love and care will be sorely missed by all of whose lives she so graciously touched. Robert (Rob) Malloy
Robert Alan Malloy passed away peacefully on the 2nd October at home (now reunited with his lovely Mum and Dad, May and Harry and his dear Aunty Peg and all who went before him and who loved him dearly.) He was a devoted younger Brother to his Sister Sandra and Brother-in-law Billy and a loving Godfather and Uncle to Sarah, Emma and Jonnie and Katie. Nothing will ever fill the space he has left in our hearts. He was a very special Great Uncle. The relationship with his Great Nieces Llenya Rose and Laurie May and Great Nephew William has given them a true understanding of how his love, laughter and caring nature enriched not only our family, but the lives of so many of his friends. A life well lived is a precious gift and his was shared so often with his oldest, dear friend Sylvia and his newest friend Beth along with all the family and friends whose lives he impacted with his kindness and joy, especially the whole McCabe family in America. This relationship started with a pen pal letter in 1964 and three generations later they are in our hearts as they also grieve his loss. They loved him so much and he adored them. We were so lucky and privileged to have had him in our lives. Our gratitude to Clara and her team of carers cannot be measured. They were all able to see through his Alzheimer's and recognise the wonderful person he was. Their sympathetic, compassionate care matched the unequalled care he showed to so many during his lifetime. A huge thanks must go to Helen and all the district nurses who made sure his passing was painless and peaceful and to Doreen, his very own private nurse whose advice over the years was invaluable. Thank you all. She was a wonderful wife to me, Eddy for 48 years and a devoted mother to our children. We were so proud of our children and the life we had built together. We saw each other every day.
