A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Cardiff. The collision, which happened on Mount Pleasant Avenue in Rumney, occurred just after 3pm on Tuesday, September 27.
Police say that the boy was hit by the side of a passing car and was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew. He was then taken to the University Hospital of Wales as a precaution following the incident.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "At around 3.05pm on Tuesday September 27, a report was received of a car in collision with a 12 year-old boy on Mount Pleasant Avenue, Rumney. The boy was in collision with the side of a passing car.
"He was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew and taken to the University Hospital of Wales as a precaution. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation."
