Festive season is in full swing across Northern Ireland and as many people being to finish work in anticipation of the big day, there is no better time to meet with friends to celebrate.
The 12 Pubs of Christmas has become a popular challenge for those brave enough to take on the seasonal bar crawl and Belfast has no shortage of great venues to explore.
For those who may be unfamiliar with the concept - grab your worst Christmas jumper, a group of good friends and head on a bar crawl stopping at 12 different pubs along the way, following a certain set of rules in each location.

If you are having trouble planning a route this Christmas we have got you sorted. Below is a list of pubs in Belfast city centre that are all within walking distance of each other.
Feel free to change any of the rules in each bar or even change the order of the bars you visit.
Pub One: Whites Tavern
Rule: You can only order drinks which begin with the same letter as your first name
Pub Two: Henry's/ The Jailhouse
Rule: Everyone must use their bad hand to hold their drink with while at pub two.
Pub Three: Love and Death
Rule: Pick a drinking buddy and when either of you drinks, your partner must too.
Pub Four: Bootleggers
Rule: Everyone must speak with an accent for the whole time they are in this stop - that includes when ordering.
Pub Five: Muriels
Rule: No first or last names should be used at this stop. A penalty can be chosen by whoever's name is used.
Pub Six: The National
Rule: Everyone must take a shot to celebrate making it to the halfway point.
Pub Seven: Ulster Sports Club
Rule: You must try and order all your drinks without saying them by name.
Pub Eight: The Thirsty Goat
Rule: No sitting, resting or leaning in this pub. This includes setting down your drink at any point.
Pub Nine: The Dirty Onion
Rule: Everyone must drink a pint of water with their round - you'll thank us later for this one.
Pub 10: The Harp Bar
Rule: Spend your time in this stop pretending that you don't know any of your group.
Pub 11: 39 Gordon Street
Rule: Take a selfie with another group on their Christmas night out (the more Christmas jumpers the better.)
Pub 12: The Duke of York
Rule: End your night with a good pint (or half pint) of the black stuff.
Remember to drink responsibly and look after all members of your group - 12 Pubs its a marathon and not a sprint so be safe and enjoy yourselves.
