The Carolina Panthers listed 12 players on their initial injury report for their Week 6 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Five of those players did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, including running back Miles Sanders.
As expected, Sanders sat out of the session with a shoulder injury. The fifth-year rusher, who had also been dealing with a lingering groin issue, made an early exit from the Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Also as expected, guard Chandler Zavala did not participate. The rookie offensive lineman was carted off the field on Sunday after sustaining what head coach Frank Reich later described as a “really bad stinger.”
