12 Dolphins listed on first injury report ahead of matchup with Giants

In preparation for their Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants, the Miami Dolphins held their first practice on Wednesday at the Baptist Health Training Complex.

Miami listed 12 players on their first injury report of the week.

Three players were non-participants – offensive tackle Terron Armstead (back/ankle/knee), running back Raheem Mostert (veteran rest) and cornerback Justin Bethel (veteran rest).

Limited participants included wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee), offensive lineman Lester Cotton (ankle), safety DeShon Elliott (groin), cornerback Nik Needham (Achilles), offensive lineman Robert Jones (knee), linebacker Jaelan Phillips (oblique) and center Connor Williams (groin).

Running back Salvon Ahmed (groin) and right guard Robert Hunt (knee) were full participants.

Tight ends Durham Smythe, Tyler Kroft and Julian Hill as well as cornerback Eli Apple were all removed from the list from last week.

Miami and New York will kick off on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium.
