12 coaches Broncos are not considering for head coach job

Last year, the Denver Broncos’ list of candidates to replace Vic Fangio included Brian Callahan, Kevin O’Connell, Dan Quinn and Nathaniel Hackett.

Quinn, Hackett and O’Connell ended up being the finalists, and Hackett got the job. A clear mistake in hindsight.

Perhaps another mistake — the Broncos did not even consider Doug Pederson, Jim Harbaugh, Jim Caldwell, Brian Daboll, Leslie Frazier, Mike McDaniel or Raheem Morris last year.

Harbaugh, Caldwell and Morris are all candidates this year, but there are several notable coaches who Denver is overlooking in the team’s latest coach search. Here’s a quick look at a dozen coaches who are not candidates for the job at the time of this writing.
