No child should ever go through what kids as young as 8-10 year olds experienced in the Texas school shooting. When 11-year-old Miah Cerrillo spoke about the shooter killing her friend who was just next to her, hiding, her eyes swell up with tears and an expression of fear is seen on her face.
For several kids like Miah that day was a regular day when they left for school with bags packed with books and notes and lunch boxes. Few of these innocent ones did not even know that they would not be coming back to the warm hugs of their moms and dads.
