BENGALURU: An 11-year-old boy was reunited with his parents nine hours after he was allegedly kidnapped by a woman and held captive at a farmhouse near Jigani on the outskirts of the city.
Dammadeep, the son of BMTC driver Subhash and class 5 student of a government school, was playing outside his Horamavu residence around 5.30pm on Tuesday. An unknown woman approached him and lured him on the pretext of taking him to a nearby swimming pool. The woman, Durga, hired an auto and took the boy to JR Farms, a farmhouse near Jigani, where her husband’s younger brother worked as a security guard. The duo held the boy captive at the farmhouse.
