11 best anti-snore pillows, tried and tested for better sleep

Sleeping on your side reduces snoring, but I have also included pillows for back sleepers - (Zoe Griffin/The Independent)

There are quite a few anti-snore methods out there but, if you (or your partner) snores, then you’ve probably tried them all, from nasal sprays to strips. One of the newer solutions, anti-snore pillows, have proved to be effective for many people, so if you're looking to finally put an end to that tiresome grumbling, these specially-made pillows could be worth a try.

Snoring happens when airflow is restricted, causing tissue vibrations, so anti-snore pillows align your head and neck so as to reduce this pressure on the airways. This could be by elevating your upper body, or by encouraging side sleeping. Studies have shown side sleeping can significantly reduce snoring by minimising airway compression.
