Ashley Biden — the youngest daughter of former US President Joe Biden — has filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Dr Howard Krein, in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

A representative confirmed the filing to The Philadelphia Inquirer on Monday. Hours later, Ashley posted (and later deleted) Instagram stories set to Beyoncé's 'Freedom' and Lauryn Hill's 'Freedom Time', signalling a fresh chapter.
