A Chicago man and nine others were charged after the conclusion of a years-long federal drug trafficking investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl-laced heroin and other drugs on the South Side.
Kevin Ware, a 49-year-old Chicago resident, is accused of running the operation, including managing the potency and supply of the drugs his group was distributing as well as working with dealers to create deals for customers. The criminal complaint states the group worked with the Gangster Disciples, a Chicago street gang.
