Most comic book characters are memorable because of their superpowers and amazing abilities. Superman can fly, employ heat vision, and has super strength. Spider-Man has super strength and can stick to walls. In the comic books, Tony Stark used to be a normal human but is now basically a post-human with nano-tech that is bio-hacked into his body. Still, some comic book characters without superpowers can be just as compelling.
Aunt May, Peter Parker’s aunt, is a very well-known character and doesn’t have any superpowers. Lois Lane is a household name and yet has no superpowers or abilities comparable to Superman. Nick Fury is one of the coolest and deadliest characters in Marvel, but he has no powers.
