There were 19 more Covid-19 fatalities and 1,587 new patients admitted to hospitals on Wednesday, the Ministry of Public Health reported on Thursday.
This compared with 20 coronavirus-related fatalities and 1,605 patients on Tuesday, as reported on Wednesday.
As of midnight Wednesday, a total of 14,061 people were receiving Covid-19 treatment (down from 14,462 the previous day), including 7,732 in hospitals (down from 7,950). Of the remainder, 158 were in field hospitals/hospitel facilities (down from 159) and 6,161 in home/community isolation (down from 6,343).
Of those in hospitals, 692 were seriously ill with lung inflammation (down from 695) and 356 dependent on ventilators (down from 362).
As of Thursday the daily averages over a 14-day period were - 1,635 new patients, down from 1,893 as of Aug 26 figures; 692 seriously ill patients, down from 790; 356 dependent on ventilators, down from 377; and 25 coronavirus-related deaths, down from 29.
The 24-hour period also saw 1,969 patients discharged from hospitals after recovering.
The 1,587 new patients were all local cases.
The 19 people who died were aged from 41 to 103 years and included a Chinese national.
Bangkok logged three more deaths and there was one in the adjacent province of Samut Prakan.
Other central plains provinces further from the capital reported six deaths - two in Ayutthaya and one each in Saraburi, Sing Buri, Chon Buri and Chanthaburi.
The North reported five more coronavirus-related deaths - in Phetchabun (3) and Sukhothai (2).
The Northeast had two - in Udon Thani and Nakhon Ratchasima.
The South reported two deaths in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 4,664,156 Covid-19 cases, including 2,440,721 this year, with 4,617,612 complete recoveries to date.
The accumulated death toll stood at 32,483 since the beginning of the pandemic, including 10,785 so far this year.
Global Covid-19 cases rose by 512,432 in 24 hours to 611.95 million. The worldwide death toll went up by 1,556 to 6.51 million.
The United States had the most cases at 96.87 million, up 50,403, and the most deaths at 1.07 million, up 353.
