007 First Light PC requirements: Minimum and recommended specs

IO Interactive has finally unveiled the official PC system requirements for 007 First Light, their upcoming James Bond origin story that is set to launch in 2026, across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.

The game demands notable VRAM even at 1080p, reflecting high-fidelity visuals like detailed environments and stealth action sequences, as 007 First Light promises next-level stealth, driving, and gadgets.

The specs mentioned below have been amended via an X post after a “mistake was due to an internal miscommunication” among the team in a now-deleted earlier post. With that said, you can find both the minimum and recommended specs you must meet to play 007 First Light.

Table of contents

007 First Light minimum specs

007 First Light recommended specs

According to the game’s official post on X, these are the recommended system specs to play the game at 1080p 60 frames per second preset:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5 13500 or AMD Ryzen 5 7600
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT or Intel Discrete GPU equivalent
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • VRAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: 80 GB minimum

In both cases, the required operating system is a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. At the time of writing, IO Interactive has yet to reveal the PC specs needed to play the game at higher resolutions.

However, it goes without saying, but the more powerful PC you have, the higher resolution you’d be able to play at while getting more frames at the same time. To play 007 First Light at 1440p or 4K, it’s better if you have an RTX 4070 or a better GPU, paired with 32 GB of RAM and a better processor than the ones mentioned above.

Coming to the storage, 80 GB is recommended, but they haven’t mentioned anything about HDDs or SSDs. It’s better if you install it on an SSD for eliminating stutters and slow loading speeds.

007 First Light is scheduled to release on May 27 this year, which is also one of the most anticipated games of 2026, after it was delayed from a March release.
